The impact Dr. Kaufman, and her colleagues, has had on my life is beyond what I can put into words. In 2019 I came into Dr. Kaufman's office with significant and longstanding ocular surface disease that was greatly impacting my life. I was in pretty constant discomfort/pain, and could not see well even with glasses. My hope was to be fitted for scleral lenses to improve these issues. My case was (and still isn't) simple or straightforward in any way. Dr. Kaufman was not deterred by the myriad of challenges my case presented. She very expertly fitted me with scleral lenses which have COMPLETELY changed my life! She has since fitted me with three additional pairs, each of which has had a successful improvement over the old ones (which were great to begin with!). I now have no limitations in my daily life. I can tolerate lights (before any light-inducing indoor- hurt my eyes), I can easily drive and work, and can do this without pain or discomfort. Prior to the lenses, I had significant ocular surface inflammation, and now I have none. It is truly amazing. I don't want to even think about what my life would be like without Dr. Kaufman and her talent, as well as kindess and compassion. I am so grateful to her, and everyone at Factoria Eye Care for all they have done to improve my life. They are amazing people!

Jerome Lee Dr Kaufman and the staff are the best! I live over 50 miles away from Factoria Eye, there are probably hundreds of Eye clinics between my house and Dr Kaufman and I have never considered going elsewhere!
Joe Teplitsky Ok, so I rarely get good enough service to leave these kinds of posts but Dr. Kaufman and her staff deserve special mention. I was referred to her office by my regular eye Dr. at Optic Gallery in Kent who also deserve special mention for their care and consideration - they referred me. I have special eye care needs due to a cornea trasplant years ago. So not only were Dr. Kaufman and her staff kind, pleasant and efficient, but today I went to pick up the kit for my new cantacts. I road the motorcycle to use the commuter lane, and my battery decided to give up the ghost in their parking lot. Dr. Kaufman just returned from lunch, asked me if everything was ok. I explained the situation. She said she had jumper cables and would be glad to help. She did, and I was on the road again in minutes!
